I would also agree that my family has the most influence over my beliefs. they've taught me everything i know and guided me through life. So therefore i tend to think more like them.
I believe that the most influential people in my life right now are my friends. This is because now that I am in college, I dont see my parents nearly as much as I do my friends. Since I see them more often I feel as if they have a stronger influence on my personal beliefs.
I was raised in a family that attended church every Sunday. I valued the thoughts given at church which were also reinforced by my family. So, I would have to say that my family and the things I was taught at church are my biggest influlence in my decisions in life.
There was a time when my parents were my absolute biggest influence in my life. Now that I am more independent, I would have to say that I always have in the back of my mind what my parents would say, but, my friends are also a huge influence.
If I am perfectly honest, I would have to say that I am most influenced by my friends and society. I don't like to make waves and I generally go along with whatever the general opinion is. I will change my thoughts on something depending upon who I am with at the time. I know this isn't the best thing to do because sometimes I really don't agree with their decisions, but I am not strong enough to stand up to them. Maybe as I get older, I will have more confidence in myself.
I no longer listen to anyone when it comes to things. I don't have a good relationship with my mother and I never knew my father. My mother has given me some bum advice in the past, so she's out. And my friends, well I don't think they're doing so well with things, so why would I listen to them???
I'd have to say that when I was younger, my family was the biggest influence. The older I get, it seems like I have the foundation of my family, but, I look toward my friends and boyfriend for advice.
The biggest influence on my beliefs would have to be my group of friends. My friends and myself are all so much alike, and we respect each others different beliefs. I have learned from them to listen to different opinions and not judge. They have definitely made the biggest impact on me.
The biggest influence for me is my family. I look to my good friends for advice and help but my family is who i trust the most. They are the ones that have always been there to guide me to where I am today.
The biggest influence on my personal beliefs would definitely be my family. I've always trusted them and what they've taught me.

ReplyDeleteI dont let anyone influence my beliefs. I do what in my gut I think is best.
ReplyDeleteI would say my friends more than anyone, but then my family as well, but not nearly as much as they had used to.
