I believe there is an afterlife. What would be the purpose of humans living such short lives to just simply die? I have no proof that there is a heaven or a hell, but I do believe when you die your soul still lives. Some people disagree saying that humans only say there is an afterlife so that they have hopes after they pass. But I think that there has to be some other kind of life after death.
After you die, your existence does not just disappear. Determined by God based on your actions during life, your soul will either go to hell or to heaven. So yes, I do believe in an afterlife.
I believe that there is an after life. Since I have witnessed super natural activity, I have a reason to believe that after ones death, their spirit doesn't just disappear. I believe in heaven 100%, but I don't really know what to believe when it comes to hell. I do think that your soul still moves on and lives even though your physical body doesn't.
I believe there is an afterlife. If you were a good citizen and followed the rules, you will live a happy after life in heaven but if you were a disruptive citizen and didn't follow what you were supposed to, I believe you will live a hard after life in hell.
I don't believe in an afterlife. You, your self-awareness is a product if your consciousness, housed in your brain. When you cease to function, your brain dies and your consciousness cease, and you lose your sense of self. Obviously this is where the 'spirit' or 'soul' comes into play. I suppose we then need evidence for the existence of said 'spirit' or 'soul'. There is no evidence for either. Furthering that, even if there was evidence for it, there is no evidence for any afterlife. I see no reason to believe in things without evidence, otherwise whats to stop someone from believing in a super afterlife where all non-believers go?
I believe in an afterlife. I was brought up always being taught this throughout my childhood at my church. I find it hard to believe that when we die, that's it. There are so many different religions that believe in an afterlife, it's tough to believe that ALL of them are wrong. There are also books, such as LIFE AFTER LIFE, that document people dying and then coming back and many of these people have had similar experiences. Many were able to see themselves laying on an operating table and could tell word for word conversations between doctors. Many saw a white light and had a feeling of calm. So, yes, I believe in the afterlife.

The comment above me is really interesting. Even though stories and rumors are easily made up, I do to believe in the afterlife. I don't think that our spirits die and then thats the end of it. I think our physical bodies die and then are spirits move on.
Yes, I believe there is an afterlife. People who do good will go to heaven and people who do not live a good life will suffer in hell. thats what the bible tells us so i believe it.
