I have never had any supernatural experience such as paranormal activity. But I know several people who have experienced this and I believe in it although I have never been given proof or any evidence of this.
I'm not sure if this counts as a supernatural experience, but the night my grandfather died i woke up at the exact time of his death crying. I obviously hadn't received the news at this point, but i felt an overwhelming sadness. I've also heard that it isn't uncommon to hear reports of clocks that stop on the exact time of death as the person living in the house, but i have not personally witnessed this.
I've never had a supernatural experience before but my dad has. Before my dad left for work one morning, he checked on my baby brother, who was in his crib sleeping. Then, my stepmom woke up to my brother laughing like somebody was tickling him and went upstairs to check on him. His outfit that he was wearing, was laying right next to him folded. There is no possible way that my baby brother took it off and folded it. Nobody else was home at the time so we think that a ghost of someone that used to live there did this to him.
No I personally have never had a supernatural experience. However my friend Josh sitting next to me right now has and he said it was out of this world.
The night my great grandmother died, I woke up in the middle of the night to a voice in my head that said, "Merry Christmas, I love you". (it was Christmas Eve of course) I remember being wide awake and saying it right back. It was a peaceful feeling and I immediately fell right back to sleep. I was young at the time and had no clue that she had died that night or really even was close to dying. The next morning I told my mom about it, thinking, "Maybe it was Santa." She burst out crying and explained to me that my great grandma had passed around midnight that night and that her and my dad both had also experienced something at that moment; they new in their hearts it was her. Turns out quite a few family members had their own stories to tell about that night as well and they all connected in some way.
My church had a guest speaker one Sunday and this lady had experienced something supernatural. One night she was walking home from work and in order to get home she needed to walk through an alley by herself at 3am. On the other side of the alley was a man that seemed suspicious. As she was walking she prayed and prayed that God keep her safe. She made it home safely. The next morning she saw on the news that a women was raped in the same alley she had walked through that night and it was not long after she had either. She followed up on the story and when they caught the guy, she recognized him as the same guy she had passed in the alley. She set up a meeting with him in jail. He remembered her and she asked him "what kept him from raping her? Why not her, why the other women?" He replied, "Are you kidding? Why would I mess with you? You had two big men on either side of you." She didn't know what to say back, no one was with her that night....
I don't remember much about what he said, but my dad says when he was a kid, he saw an angel sitting at the foot of his bed. He'd never felt such a sense of awe and fear at the same time. Good luck on your 1,000 comments, is it all combined or just on one blog post?
Yes i have had experiences with the supernatural. Oneee was that after my grandpa past away his way to communicate would be to flicker all the lights. Terrifying at first but i got used to it. Worst one was when my mom, sisters, me and a friend were watching the movie Taken and my sister mentioned how the main character reminded her of my gpa. Our lamp light was off and it turned on right when she said that and it kept flickering non stop. Once you ask him to stop, he does. When we looked at the lamp, it was not even plugged it which made it more weird to think s supernatural entity has that much energy and power to turn on a light when its not even plugged in and has no electricity flowing through it.But this happens often so its something you get used to.
When my aunt died my parents took my sister and I to our grandmother's house to stay the night. We both decided to take the crosses that hung above our beds that she got us. Before we left the house, I dropped mine on our kitchen floor and it broke into 4 pieces. We were able to find 3 of the 4 pieces, but never the last one. About 2 years ago ( she passed away in 2006) around the time of her passing, we heard a loud shatter noise coming from the kitchen... There in the middle of our kitchen floor was the 4th piece. so the answer is yes I have had a supernatural experience.
The one day i went with my dad to work. He was doing electrical work at the Franklin House. There were three floors. They were trying to make it into a bed and breakfast type restraunt. The first and the second floor were very clean and nice looking when I got to the third floor everything was nice too until I walked into this one bed room. Everything was mess up all the mirrors were cracked, all the drawers were open, the bed was flipped over, and the all of the pillows looked like they were slashed. All of a sudden the door shut behind me and the window broke. The door wouldnt open and everything was like flying around the room. I was praying like i never prayed befor eI thought I was gonna die. Thank goodness my dad was looking for me and opened the door and got me out of there. I was so scared.
Everybodys stories are really interesting. I have had many crazy things happen to me in my own house. I hear things all the time. The sounds of footsteps through my kitchen, mumbling sounds, and knocking on doors. One time my sister and me saw the shadow of human feet walking through my dads gun room. It was such a crazy and scary experience that i will never forget. Since i left my house i haven't witnessed any other supernatural activity.
My sister passed away about eleven months ago. Although I am not sure if this counts as "supernatural" it has rained every month on the day she died. She loved the rain. Also, when my family was driving home from her funeral, a strong wind came and blew almost all of the leaves off of one tree. They started to spin in a tornado type fashion, then drift peacefully to the grass. It was not a windy day, and no other leaves were falling. She loved the Fall weather, and I believe that she was showing us that she is still with is.
One of my friends dads past away over the summer and he used to collect feathers. Two months ago after he past away they would find white feathers in the most random places. Today she went to pull her phone from her back pack and she found a feather attached to her phone and there was a picture of her and her dad on the front screen.
One time I was at my mother's office with one of my friends, and we were doing seances and messing around with the Ouija board. Nothing was happening and it was getting late so we decided to leave. As we were walking out of the building we heard this loud pounding on the wall right next to us. Mind you we were the only ones in the building. So we basically sprinted out of the building screaming. We left all of our stuff in it and didn't go back for it.
My first real paranormal experience was at one of my friends house during his graduation party. Since it was late in the summer, there was nobody inside their house so when a friend of mine and I saw a shadow in their house with a dimming light around it, we knew that we saw their ghost. Now some people might say it was someone just walking around, but not only was everyone out behind the house but also none of the lights in the house dim. Needless to say we were all spooked after that.
I had a crazy one. I never had a weekly newspaper subscription and after my grandfather passed away the newspaper ended up on my drive way. I ended up taking it and looking inside and did find his obituary. FREAKY, coincidental or what? I guess that's the closest I got to being classified as supernatural experience.
Referencing the post two above me about the Ouija board. I've heard many stories about them and how they actually work, but there is no way that can physically happen without someone moving it themselves. I know you weren't saying anything about it, but it made me think about it and those are my thoughts. Anyone that says the they work either were lied to or a nutcase.
A couple summers back my friends and me decided to try out an old ouiga board. I didn't expect anything to happen. We asked some simple questions like "is there a spirit here?" and it moved to yes. Only one other question ended up working out, but it was still creepy!
I've really enjoyed reading all of these experiences. It makes me have a different view about supernatural experiences because I have never had one myself.
The only experience I ever had in my life has been seeing orbs in photos. I believe that orbs are spirits and taking photos are our way of seeing them.

ReplyDeleteShe has seen feathers atleast 7 times since hes past away.
