I believe in ghost for many different reasons. Like I said in the other post, I have had supernatural activity happen to me which makes me believe. I have also taken pictures with figures in the back.
I believe ghosts are real as well. I think after a person dies their spirts are around us, they can come and go as they please...you might not physically be able to see them but they are there.

I believe that ghosts are merely spirits that haven't crossed over. I have been on many ghost tours in williamsburg, virginia and cape may, new jersey. The stories are very convincing; although there is no real proof. Even without proof I believe that ghosts are supernatural figures that are trying to communicate with us.
I agree that a lot of ghost stories are really convincing even without real proof. I personally haven't had any experiences with ghosts, so it's hard to say that I actually believe in them, but I definitely think that other people's experiences have to do with more than coincidences.

Some of the things that happen on the show are very freaky and with out it being caused by a ghost there is really no other explanations for the sounds they hear, the things that get moved, and the things they see during the ghost hunt. Also I have seen things in picture that are ghost like because when the picture was originally took the object wasn't there! So yes I believe in the concept of ghosts because of the freaky things that happened that have no other possible explanation!

How i came to believe in these was when i once went to the bookstore to get a book and there was a book that could be bought that talked about haunted places in the county i lived it. After i saw the book, and hearing stories that i first did not believe, i started believe that they may really be there. Although there is no real proof to their existence except the stories and experiences people have, i think that it is basd on belief and i do believe they exist.

Ghosts could be real, but i don't want to believe they are real. I think for me the realization of the supernatural among humans here on earth is a scary idea. So no i don't believe in them
What a great question to respond to on Halloween day! After watching several Halloween movies this past weekend, most of them had some kind of spirits or ghosts in them to get people into the Halloween mood. But the movies were very, very unrealistic. There is no friendly ghost named casper and there are certainly no witches! I believe when you die, you either go to heaven or hell. When you die your soul leaves your body but I do not consider that soul as a "ghost". I have never had any kind of ghost experience, so maybe thats why I really don't believe it them. I just really believe that "ghosts" are solely our spirits going to heaven/hell.
I believe ghosts are real because I have experienced real life situations that involve spirits and ghosts. Also, some of my family members have told me stories about seeing/hearing ghosts. There is a lot of proof out there that ghosts exist compared to ghosts not existing.
I believe ghosts are a phenomena related to physics and the way information is transferred throughout the universe. Though to argue the point I want to make I would have to define consciousness as something that physically exists; meaning consciousness is beyond neural charges that jump between neurons in the brain.
Though I will assume that consciousness is a collective of the human experience and data; when the body dies it has to go somewhere because it just doesn't disappear. Physics states the universe does not create nor destroy information (which in itself leads to so many questions.) so the data stored by the brain has to go somewhere. I believe some of that 'human experience' gets trapped here and that is what we believe are ghosts.
I believe in ghosts. I have had many, many stories passed down to me from my family about their experiences with ghosts. My grandmother once told me she always use to see a little girl outside her house swinging on the swings.
If I saw a little girl swinging on my window, I would definitely have an even better reason to believe in ghosts. I have experienced a lot of activity in my own house that blows my mind still. One day I saw feet walking underneath my dads gun room door when it was only my sister and myself home. This experience really forced me to believe in ghosts.
I have had far too many stories told to me by family members that I am 100% a believer in ghosts. These stories have been passed down through my family through generations, and every time I hear them I get the chills. I have not had any personal experience myself, but I would never misjudge my family.
I have had plenty experience. But kurt i agree with you. my family has told me about many different times when they have witnessed paranormal activity and sometimes the stories they tell me sound like things that i have experienced. I have no right to not believe them if i heard or saw the same thing. If anything that should make me believe them more.
I don't believe in ghost or spirits or anything along those lines. I think that once people die their spirits are also gone. That's why you should take every chance you can because you long live once.
I don't see how your spirits just disappear. They have to move on, well at least that is what I believe. But I have never had a paranormal experience, or witnessed a ghost or anything like that, but I still believe in them.
